Rahul Jain is the curator and chief coordinator of Dibrugarh University International Literature Festival. He was the artistic director of Brahmaputra Literature Festival, one of the biggest literary events in Eastern India for 2018 and 2019, and its chief coordinator in 2017.
Besides, he was the Festival Director of the first Meghalaya International Film Festival in 2023, and the artistic director of Guwahati International Film Festival 2018, the chief coordinator of the inaugural Guwahati International Film Festival in 2017. He curated and programmed the first Guwahati International Documentary Short and Animation Film Festival in 2019.
In 2018, he was invited by the Government of Latvia as a guest to the Riga International Film Festival and to visit the country’s cultural institutions to strengthen Indo-Latvian cooperation in the field of art & culture, literature, and films. He was also invited by the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh to Vietnam in 2022 for his role in strengthening Indo-Vietnamese ties through the medium of art, culture and literature.
A literary enthusiast, he has been a media professional since 2001.
